In June 2018, Johnnie Walker partnered with Gusto at the Grand and SKYCITY Auckland to curate a series of exclusive dinners that inspired and celebrated personal progress. Held in the private dining room of Gusto at the Grand, 20 guests each night were be treated to a 4 course menu and exquisite cocktails, all aimed to challenge perceptions around what it means to drink whisky.

Each dinner in the series was hosted by two trail blazing individuals who inspire personal progress through their achievements in design, business and entertainment. On arrival, guests were greeted by a vibrant maitre-de and served their first drink of the evening, a light and refreshing Johnnie Walker Gold punch. Over the course of the evening the hosts entertained and told stories, inviting everyone at the table to speak and share their own experiences. Cocktails inspired by whisky culture at different points in time and across the globe were enjoyed along with signature Gusto dishes. Each night ended on a high, with guests having enjoyed a series of golden moments, tastes and experiences (to share via social channels of course!) curated by Johnnie Walker.
